On May 29, 2024, the Ukrainian Culture Center of Los Angeles (UCCLA) convened a pivotal meeting with European Commission Vice President Věra Jourová, focusing on pressing issues concerning Ukraine’s relationship with the European Union. Co-facilitated by the Czech Consul General in Los Angeles, Jaroslav Olsa, Jr. and the President of UCCLA, Laryssa Reifel, this engagement underscored the Center’s commitment to fostering diplomatic dialogue and advocating for Ukrainian interests on the global stage.
