Sean Moir

Sean was born in the UK and immigrated to suburban Philadelphia with his family at the age of three. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Computer Science, Sean worked in the emerging tech sector during the dot-com boom and the Y2K crisis.

While with Chester County’s GIS department, he launched a historic mapping initiative and led several award-winning, federally funded Revolutionary War battlefield research projects.

He served over a decade on his township’s volunteer Park Board in Pennsylvania and was ultimately elected to the Board of Supervisors.

He became interested in Ukraine during the Maidan Revolution and met his Ukrainian-born wife while she was visiting Philadelphia. They moved to Los Angeles in 2022, and became active in the local Ukrainian community, while Sean continues working remotely for an East Coast IT consulting firm.
