Mark Billey is an active member in the local Los Angeles Ukrainian Community.  He helps out with and volunteers for the various community groups like Kobzar Ukrainian Community Choir, Ukrainian Art Center, Ukrainian Cultural Center, Chervona Kalyna Ukraine Dance Ensemble, as well as a parishoner with Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church. He is following in the traditions instilled in him by his mother, Mary Billey, who was also an past leader and member in the many Ukrainian groups she was a part of.
